You know what’s funny that i just thought of? How all the rich kids from high school that were all into punk turned into hipsters…….. now that word gets thrown around a lot. But when a group of friends start wanting to ride bikes because of there new “founded love” when really its because the new bands they got into are all about riding bikes ( but they wont fess up to that) 

the best is wen they talk about how punk was a thing of the past.. uhhhhhhhhhhh no you wanted to be cool so you started buying at american apparel (not american made anymore either), urban outfitters and all of a sudden you got into thrift shopping when you still pay 600 on a simple handbag.

stop claiming you liked punk, stop claiming how you listen to it.

Its more then just a few bands you like. There is a voice in the music. there is a message.

fuck you go enjoy whatever the fuck you like now maybe your money will get you the style ready for whatever is the new thing you wanna identify yourself with.
